SHADEDHUES

MAKE ART. HUSTLE. LAUGH OUT LOUD.

See yourself through an artist’s eyes.

Feeling stuck in your identity, your purpose, your perspective?

What if a single drawing could show you a picture that was never taken — a version of yourself seen through an artist’s eyes?

Welcome to ShadedHues, where art becomes a way to break through the monotony of life and reconnect with what’s alive inside you. Through my art, I want to create those surprising moments where curiosity pulls you out of routine. Each piece is an invitation to pause, reflect, and see the unseen — both in the work and in yourself.

About Me

Artist. Punk. Dad.

Have you ever felt lost after making a change — like it didn’t bring the freedom you hoped for?

After tragedy and trauma as a young boy, I spent years searching for meaning in all the wrong places. It wasn’t until 2012, after years of searching and stumbling, I found myself in recovery. Sitting alone, feeling lost, I picked up a piece of charcoal — and what began as an outlet for fear, worry and uncertainty, became an inlet, a lifeline. For me, art was an unexpected way back.

Today, my work is less about me and more about connection: giving shape to emotions that often go unspoken, so you can see your own story reflected in a new light of black and white.

My goal is to capture the natural beauty of a true body of art, highlighting the subtleties  just enough to let the imagination do its work.

I work mostly in black and white because it leaves space for you — for your emotions, your memories, your colors. Every piece I create is personal, but not just for me. It’s for anyone who looks and suddenly thinks: that’s how I feel, but I’ve never been able to say it.

Art.Work.

What do we see when we really look at a work of art?…

Why Work With Me

See the Light in Black and White.

Why do people collect art? Sometimes it’s beauty, sometimes memory, sometimes healing. What’s your reason?

Through my artwork, I seek to capture moments of raw emotion, personal connection, and quiet resilience. My creative journey began in the ashes of addiction and loss, and it continues today as a way to honor the life I’ve rebuilt—one marked by family, growth, and gratitude. For me, each piece is a collaboration with the viewer. My hope is that you don’t just ‘see’ the art, but you feel seen by it.

Whether you’re commissioning something personal or simply exploring, this is a space for reflection, connection, and meaning.

Collaborate.

Tell me more about your project

Have you ever wished for a picture that didn’t exist — a moment you long to see again, or a person you want remembered in a timeless way? That’s what commissions are for. Together, we’ll create something personal, emotional, and timeless — a piece that belongs to you and your story. Whether it’s a portrait of a loved one, a memorial for someone you’ve lost, a dream or emotion you need to see to believe, or simply a way to see yourself through an artist’s eyes, I’ll work with you to make the unseen visible.
