Maggie

Dogs were always a part of our household growing up. It was never long between one crossing the rainbow bridge and a new addition to the family joining to fill a tremendous void. This portrait is of my mother holding her latest addition, Maggie, just days after adopting her. Maggie is still around, despite various familial losses over the last decade, and does a beautiful job as a solution to void for my mother today.
